Marcie Snyder

Marcie Snyder

Licensed Audiology Assistant

Marcie Snyder began as a receptionist in our Liberty office in March of 2000, promoted to the Boardman office as a billing manager, and became a licensed audiology aide in 2006 through the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Her job duties include hearing aid cleanings, repairs and modifications, hearing screenings, and hearing aid programming and adjustments. She also is part of the marketing team for all seven offices.

Marcie graduated from West Middlesex Junior Senior High School. She also attended Mercer County Vocational Technical School for three years, specializing in Communications.

Community Volunteer:

Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Mahoning Valley Hearing Mission 2012, 2013, and 2014, Second Harvest Food Bank, Sponsor of Mahoning valley Rescue Mission, World Vision, Special Olympics of Ohio and various community fundraisers throughout the year.

Gina Petrinjak

Gina Petrinjak

Licensed Audiology Assistant

Gina Petrinjak began working with our company in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Audiology from Kent State University. She became a licensed audiology aide in 2014 through the Ohio Board of Speech-language Pathology and Audiology. Her main focus is to do hearing aid cleanings, repairs, screenings, hearing aid programming, and adjustments.

Gina is very enthusiastic about what she does and is dedicated to helping our patients achieve better hearing and an improved quality of life. Gina holds herself accountable for providing the best patient experience and takes pride in establishing strong relationships at work and within the community. This includes her volunteering at many of our local hearing missions and one international mission to Dominica in 2014.

When Gina is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two little girls.

Penny May

Penny May

Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist

Penny May is a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist working at our Boardman and Salem locations. She began her career with Centers for Hearing Care in 2002. Originally hired as a receptionist for our Salem office, her career expanded to Insurance and Provider Enrollment Coordinator. Under the guidance and training of our team of Audiologists, Penny moved to direct patient care as a Licensed Audiology Aide in 2007 and then in 2023 she became licensed through the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board as a State Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist. Penny’s expertise is in hearing aid fittings, programming, and adjustments. She can perform hearing evaluations for individuals taking the next step in their hearing journey to wear hearing aids.

Penny is passionate about helping individuals have the best quality of life and helping to improve their hearing and communication. Witnessing the happy tears of patients who rediscover the world of sound is what makes her job so fulfilling. 

Community Volunteer:

Penny has participated in many of our hearing missions both internationally and locally via our Hearing Missions Foundation. She is a Salem Chamber of Commerce board member. She is a past member of Salem Rotary and served as their international service chairperson.

Jack Mashburn

Jack Mashburn

Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist

Jack Mashburn is a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. He works at many of the Centers for Hearing Care locations. A newer addition to the Audiology staff, Jack is eager to provide excellent care and attention to our patients. Graduating in 2012 from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he understands the importance of great hearing for a full life and a healthy brain. He is well-versed in the latest device technologies that support patients’ busy lifestyles.

Jack enjoys spending time outdoors, woodworking and problem-solving. His vast set of hobbies and interests have provided unique insights into common concerns that patients may experience. 

Community Volunteer:

Jack has volunteered at the local Hearing Mission Foundation in Youngstown both in 2022 & 2023 as well as the 2023 Hear in Cleveland hearing mission.
